CINEMAPOCALYPSE!

The Music Box Theatre is thrilled to host a series of white-hot exploitation films curated by two of the film programmers for Austin, TX’s original Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, Lars Nilsen and Zack Carlson!
They’re taking their popular exploitation movie series on the road for two huge nights of sleazy fun, all presented in vintage 35mm prints from Alamo’s sister organization, the American Genre Film Archive (AGFA).
There’s an opening program of insane movie trailers that the film fans at the Alamo have collected over the years, as well as a special appearance by horror film director (and Chicago native) Gary Sherman. Mr Sherman will do a Q&A for his film Vice Squad, screening Friday, July 20th at 9pm.
