Terror Tuesday!
I find it hard to rank the F13th movies because I think, overall, it’s the most consistently entertaining of the big horror franchises. Yes, some are far better than others, but there’s not one that I would turn off if it were being played in front of me. It was awesome to see this in 35mm as the only other one I’ve ever seen on the big screen was JASON X on opening weekend.
This movie also feels more tragic after having seen THE LAST AMERICAN VIRGIN. I just pictured Lawrence Monoson as Gary having picked up the pieces and moved on… only to get cock blocked by Crispin fucking Glover and then brutally murdred.
THE FINAL CHAPTER is just badass all around. Great kills, super funny in many places, likable characters, and lots of people (and animals) jumping through windows. Fun shit!
