Vampire movies have been done to death but I can’t recall ever seeing a Korean take on it. And I really couldn’t think of a better person to do it than Chan-wook Park. He does a bang up job too, delivering a completely interesting version of the mythology.
I did think the ending was a little cliche and the middle section with the guilt hallucinations were consfusing to me at first.
That’s all made up in the rest of the movie, Kang-ho Song’s performance and the special FX.
