I’ve seen this movie listed on many best of horror lists for a while and it’s escaped me. Probably because I get that lame thing in my head where it’s harder for me to throw on something more modern versus old films.
I always end up regretting it too, as I did this time, because I should of seen this earlier. It’s fantastic! The French and horror movies are like chocolate and peanut butter.
Looking at this tale of two women who decide to off a husband and then despose of his body only to have it go missing, you see that this was ripped off by countless number of movies. I can’t say for sure (I haven’t checked) if this was the first one of these tales, but it’s certainly one of the best ones I’ve seen.
I can’t fault anything in this film, really. It’s a must see.
