I remember seeing this in the theater and hating it. I really almost walked out. So, I figured it was worth another view since it was on cable. It’s not as bad as I remember, but it’s also not very good. The first half of the film with Bryan Brown and Cruise rocking the bars with their swagger and drink mixing moves is pretty excellent. Then it devolves into a totally lame and dickless romantic story between Cruise and Shue that leaves me bored to tears. I’d give it one more star than I did before. So yeah…2 stars, so it’s still pretty bad but not “worst movie ever” quality.
