Hard to believe I’d never seen this iconic B-movie from the 1980s. Totally up my alley. Unfortunately, the version on Netflix Instant is a chopped 4x3 print that looks like it was digitized off video. The quality wasn’t terrible, but obviously not the original aspect ratio.
I enjoyed the movie enough to order the three disc Shout! Factory DVD set (sadly, there is no Blu-Ray version) from Amazon for $12 and change with the intention of watching all three movies (and the included documentary) at a movie night. It’ll be interesting to compare the DVD to the NWI copy.
