I gotta say I really enjoyed this reboot. It deftly acknowledges the original while taking a different tack that allows it to do a better job of developing a more well-rounded dystopian future and delving into more of the possibilities that the original movie never really explored.
I particularly liked the combination of real stage sets combined with CGI. It gave the environment a more realistic feel and probably came as close to Blade Runner’s version of the future than any other sci-fi movie that’s ever attempted it.
